Winter time is upon us, but there seems to be one element that is seriously lacking for many regions of the country, and the kids, especially the little ones want a lot of it. Yes, you’ve probably guessed it. SNOW!

So, what’s the answer, FAKE SNOW that you can make in your home in minutes with simple ingredients that you probably already have on your shelves. You can then create snow themes, make snowmen, create patterns and use moulds that the children will have endless fun with. We shared our video of Emily playing and creating a snow scene, making snowballs, even the mixing was fun and safe for the kids to get involved with.

There are two ingredients involved in the snow we created, and there are also some variations of ingredients that can also be used, so I will outline the various recipes for your own convenience.

Ingredients that can be used:

Recipe 1          Baking Soda 2.5 cups Hair Conditioner 0.5 cup

Recipe 2          Baking Soda 2 cups Corn-starch 2 cups Add water until desired consistency

Recipe 3          Corn-starch or Baking Soda 4lbs and Shaving Cream 10 ounce can

For all the recipe’s, start with the dry ingredients and then add wet ingredients until the desired consistency. All the above can be stored in a sealed container for up to 10 days.
